Endless Eight was a failure. Maybe a noble failure, but burning half the season on it was a colossal waste of time when the plot points AND the feeling of a long summer hopelessness could've been conveyed in three or at most four episodes.

Also, not really a hot take so much as a minor complaint, but in Season 2 Mikuru sometimes gets a Yui face.
