Jiji is more emotional, he's a feeler that can occasionally be more serious under pressure. Momo is emotion driven too, but she's more rational and ultimately a thinker, most of the time, while Jiji always does what his heart says. He's more open about his feelings as well

I think he was always an empath, that's the source of his huge spiritual power...maybe. Looked gentle as a kid too and Momo has a thing for kind guys or they wouldn't have been childhood friends. It's pretty obvious he loved her back too since they were children, he's just like REALLY dumb and thought that was the only way to get her attention or make the other kids stop saying he loved "that weirdo" (Momo) or something, we're likely getting his childhood pov soon to explore this further
