ZZZ always had good writing. A much much better, coherent and cohesive overarching narrative with actual stakes and where stuff actually happens as opposed to Star Rail or even Genshin. This has always been true despite the doomkek shitposters. ZZZ is simply the best hoyo game in terms of writing, set pieces, presentation (visual design) and combat. I will fault it for its lackluster OST.
