if you're at least lvl 90, you can use Double Hook and Triple Hook during spectrals to score HUGE points.
if you know what fish to go for, there's a combo that goes Double Hook > Identical Cast > Prize Catch > Cast > Triple Hook
also doing boats with friends makes it a lot smoother
