Last night I told a girl about how an author who worked for a scifi magazine in the 40's found out about the Manhattan Project because all of a sudden, hundreds of scientists around the country simultaneously requested their magazine subscriptions be readdressed to the middle of fucking nowhere, New Mexico. He then wrote a short story about it and got visited by the FBI and told him to stop.

Go figure all of the scientists were subscribed to the same scifi magazine lmao.
