I hated invasions when I first started DS1 but I've come to enjoy both invading and getting invaded. It can be pretty frustrating in someone's first souls game but once you realize you don't lose much when dying they stop being frustrating and after a while invasions really help break up the monotony of fighting a bunch of predictable enemies.
I always thought it was ironic how plebbitors want to beat Dark Souls or Elden Ring so they can act like they beat some hardcore leet game and be a true gamer but they hate it when they get invaded which makes the game harder and in turn would make it a greater accomplishment to beat. And the funniest part about that is that invasions are entirely opt-in and are just a way to counterbalance co-op carrying you through the entire game. These fags just want (completely meaningless) gamer cred that they don't even want to work for.
