No, that's a corruption. Orthodox Christianity still follows the tradition of Theosis for a reason. Theosis means "deification". Theres still a veil to a sense with them, but this was essential to the early Christians for a reason and it's accomplished through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is Shakti, and through her you rise the Caduceus. Without Theosis you cannot truly come to the Father. You must be born again, "DENY YOURSELF" and take up your cross like Jesus said. Death and resurrection is an ancient ritual, essential to Tantric practices.
