Kind of. Not for Alastor at all, but the show in general, yes. Viv seems to be taking the show into a completely different direction the same way she did with Helluva Boss, which was never 'good' in my opinion, but once the penny dropped I just couldn't take the fugly imp/bird romance seriously. As for Hazbin, I signed up for a show about redeeming sinners, not some Heaven/Hell war nonsense or some 'flavor of the month' character show. We haven't even explored the backstories of the main cast before we're dipping into a completely new set of characters that weren't even around when the fandom was built. It's ridiculous and shows that Viv can't help herself with shiny new toys, and needs to be tard wrangled by a compotent writer. Her cardinal sin is false hope. Running her mouth about how Al is this and how he's that, how the next season will focus on him, only to go 'gotcha lol, it's actually about the TV guy, and oh, all that stuff I said before, it's no longer canon loooollllll'. How can anyone really get behind her and want her to succeed? Because as someone who genuinely loves Al, it's like being in an abusive relationship where you're constantly gaslit. Why should I stay invested?
