Didn't the Native Americans tell white Europeans to treat the land and the environment not as a commodity, but as a living spirit? And then whites proceeded to kill all of them, move the remnants, and take over their land. Cut down millions of trees, started the first factories, created the first pollutants, and mass produced it worldwide? Where do white people get off telling any other race how to treat the environment? Not 200 years ago the planet was plastic free with plenty of biodiversity and then all it took was white people inventing plastic to put us in the nightmare we're in now.
