>Games are different in when this happens. As a general rule of thumb: When content runs out / the grind starts.

This is true, and those who do not like the CM or the PVP can choose not to do them. It seems like a majority do not care about that and just focus on the Uma stories or the Uma Main Story after they played career mode a few times and began to figure out how to train Uma's correctly. The irony is while Uma does take awhile to grind or finish, the story segments are very good and even the skip feature is wonderful if you have already revisited segments over and over again. Uma at it's heart is an excellent Phone game that is easy to play and to understand over time. Keep in mind Umamusume also has the advantage of a very successful and popular Anime everyone watches and then plays the game easily can get into it. They know what to expect going in and it's not a Console audience first. It's addictive in the sense of it's convenience.

>Persona 5x could've never kept these. It's a gacha. It uses aggressive monitarization (A mistake. Flash sales are ALWAYS a mistake). A lot of Persona players never even played gacha. It was never going to keep its initial player-base, and the shitlist is largely about that. Few whale on the semi-tracked platforms.
Agreed. The problem with Persona is it's a different fanbase it's from those on Consoles who already hate Gacha as it is and surprise surprise when they meet a Gacha they realize how the Monetization is normal and how it is meant to get you to subscribe, pay money or pay for packs to get more rolls for Characters and Weapons. They hate it. Plus it does not have the advantage of being hugely original as most people outside looking in can tell it's a Persona game with a Chinese skin and the audiences do not mesh well.
