Does anyone have any advice on shading? I'm finally trying to work on value and basic rendering while doing anatomy studies, but am really just trying random shit out and seeing what sticks. I can't decide whether hatches should mostly be parallel or more if I should stick to the form more strictly. I think 2b looks the most 3 dimensional, but 2a seems more aesthetically appealing to me for some reason.
