you can't just disregard criticism like that, if people wanted a metroidvania then they'd go play hollow knight or something else, not shinobi. still, I also liked the demo and thought it was ok, but you should shut the fuck up about the criticism because at least 80% of it is warranted. now have this webm because why not.

I thought it was alright. It's not like the previous games, though. You have a dedicated sword attack, which has light and heavy attacks that you can string together for combos, and kunai are there but they're scare and not as effective as before. Double jump doesn't take timing to execute, and the levels are non-linear exploration focused metroidvania style affairs. There are hidden platforming challenges (see webm) and those seem pretty fun. Overall I think this game is going to be a lot easier than the older titles, which you may or may not appreciate.
