I think Ill wait a bit to judge controls as it seems like we're missing core kit mechanics that bring it together in the demo.
I understand where they were coming from with this new entry, but Im yearning a bit for shorter more punchier attacks/attack strings.
Don't think they took nearly enough from SOR4 in terms of understanding turns and enemy variety in how they use spacing.
Especially with how powerful the dash is both in its I-frames and breaking out of and back into strings
Leads to enemies really needing to catch up with player power in a meaningful way (something they talked about in the behind the scenes videos, so i have some hope for the mid to late game)
Music in the demo doesnt have me as excited as what I heard in the trailer, but Im attributing that more to a difference in taste on my end.
