Yes, I have looked over the throttle. the TB was taken apart and rebuilt.
Everyone is pointing fingers at components that either get deleted or replaced when going standalone.
I'm not buying a new MAF, or CAS for $200-300 each. I plan to get a trigger wheel to use with the hall effect sensors for the 1.8 when I go standalone. The MAF is going to be deleted, the CAS hole will get plugged, and the TPS will be upgraded to a linear version. I am considering coil on plugs as well.
Right now, I'm trying to find a diagram of what the CAS looks like on the inside. Google search has gone to shit, I cannot find any pictures of one taken apart, or diagrams.
I found a few places selling the CAS circuit boards, pic related. I see what looks like metal contacts like you would find in a distributor, maybe they just need a cleaning?
Guess I'll take my CAS off and see what I can find when I take it apart.
I've been thinking about my timing all morning, I think it was set too far advance. Maybe all the stuttering was the knock sensor preventing pre-detonation?
