thats not fully true either. as supply increases a lot of stuff gets cheap even well into a league. Six links are extremely expensive early on, for example, but late league you can get a 6-link for 1c.

same with Uniques, the supply increases constantly as a league goes on and they're not really consumed by anything short of being turned into chance shards, so late league they're quite cheap outside of top 0.1% chase items. Deepest Tower price only ever went down in 0.2, same with Doryani's Prototype in 3.26 because supply eventually outstrips demand.
