Nobody remembers that this place was full of mocking perceived desperation for players to come back showing off Ashbringer and Illidan, and that nobody was saying they sacrificed most of WoD to make Legion bigger back then. Even the cool factor of class halls were drowned out by people complaining about the hated garrison missions coming back.
It's no coincidence that the most poorly received expansion reveals (Legion, DF, MIDnight) were all missing Metzen and not done at Blizzcon
