It's pretty good just as a show. If you have strong negative reactions to people who truly believe in a supernatural religion expressing and affirm that belief without irony or reservation, there are moments that will rub you wrong. It's not impossible to suspend disbelief, so to speak, and view the show as you would any other show with supernatural elements, but pretty much everyone from the stem to stern on this production is an avowed Christian, and the fact that it's a persuasion piece as much as it is just straight art can linger in the back of the mind. I like the show. Especially the parts where the Romans are cruel towards the Jews.
