I have read this but i don't buy it because i have never heard a case of this happening. First friendships eventually get broken, there are no proofs that shows adopted children form stronger bonds with their new parents. I have even heard most cases where some adopted children still look for their biological parents and want a to get in contact with them.
You are in a surprise if you think the most lonely guy and rejected of the class will have a friendship with you if you give him the chance or tried to be the first guy who was nice to him. Eventually different interests will separate you with him, you will have at most a shallow friendship.
