I can't remember if any of the official manga count as CGDCT, but I get the impression some of the recent Pokemon anime/animated shows are leaning more into the cutesy moe stuff. Maybe it sells more merch, I don't know. Not sure what the Likonime's target audience is either, is it for girls now?

Meanwhile Pokespe will always be shounen but if it wanted to go full uwu, to me the only cute retard girl MCs are Sapphire and Whitley. Yellow stopped being retarded after her training arc. If cute retard boys are allowed then I'd want to see Sapphire hanging out with Diamond, she ironically has more in common with Diamond than Pearl/Platinum, but I've only ever seen one fan doujin make that connection.
