I have a deep-seated fear of hell (and this ties into my ptsd as well) from being beaten and abused during my 10 years of homelessness and living in a car between the ages of 9 - 19. My dad would frequently beat the shit out of me and scream at me that i'm going to hell when i die and enduring that for 10 straight years does things to you. I struggle to sleep most nights, and on the chance I do, I have to have background noise from my computer in order to drown out my thoughts.

It's not like any parents try to understand what their kids are getting up to anyway. Most modern parents just throw their kids infront of a screen as soon as possible and ignore them until they either kill themselves from depression caused from being raised infront of a screen, or they turn 18 in which they're thrown out. It's bleak, but it's the truth.
