Quebec car noob here, I'm possibly having the most retarded idea ever. All new NA cars suck and all.the ones I want are either in Europe or Japan. I initially wanted to get a manual 2019-2020 honda fit but they just don't exist or are absolutely overpriced (saw one at 25k CAD!!!!). I want a fun 4 seasons daily driver that is fun to drive, reliable/easy to maintain and has lots of storage space which landed me on...a Evo IX wagon
I found pic related at...47 400$ CAD in japan, a 2006 Evo IX GT at 33k km and in mint condition. How much of a stupid idea is this and how much of a hassle/costly is it going to be? Is it a good deal? What am I getting into, maintenance, parts and reliability wise? Because here in Quebec a RHD has to be 25 y/o to be legally registered but Ontario is 15 and I read you can register it in Ontario (find a friend's adress and say you live there)
What do? :( Any other alternatives?
