Popeyes is fucking disgusting. Maybe it's the particular location near me that sucks because my coworkers and friends love it, but all four times I've had it it's been awful. Meat simultaneously dripping oil yet somehow dry inside. Soggy fries. Rice and beans is tasteless porridge. Popcorn shrimp seemingly just deep fried bread with a hint of shrimp flavor, almost no actual shrimp to be found. Gravy so runny it might as well be jus. Terrible restaurant with terrible food.
