An Inferno Cop episode in PSG was a great idea, but unfortunately aside from a couple of jokes it was mostly boring. Even the short with Trump was better.

No. But Wakabayashi seems to keep pretty up to date with western pop culture, he's the one responsabile for Trigger's most "topical" things, as well as stuff like the last episode that demonstrated a certain knowledge of the trading card fandom.

They're already joking about diversity in the first episode, more satire about PC culture seems inevitable. And if we want to be honest, that should be the show's bread and butter. The original existed as a reaction to the ultra sanitized moe trends of the late 00s, and logically since this season only exists because of western support it should look more at the overseas situation than at the anime industry this time. Not that I expect them to go all out or anything anyway.
