THE DEVIL IN WINTER!

I was in my youth & travelling in the frozen lands of northern Asgard, & chanced upon an old hunter that shared his hearth. That night he wove a story of a devil from the stars falling to earth, of a vast palace fashioned from ice & filled with treasures, how the devil used to rule the land sending forth unnatural monsters or cold winds to enforce his will, til one day he sealed his tower & was heard from no more. The locals avoid the place, fearing its curses & for fear of the devils wrath even still. I scoffed at his tall tale, but he swore to me it was truth, he did not have the way of a liar so I in my lusty youth boasted that if he were honest, I shall go to this place & come back with proof of my courage
