I like stuff that's more situational or more specific over generic. Generic stuff just kills me. Stuff that conjured up and almost "media res" vibe. Also stuff that is wildly open to interpretation, so that people can post multiple takes on it

Something like

Tornado
Jailbreak
The block is hot
Ice cream time
Food fight!
Your greatest fear
The king has turned evil
Arts & crafts/slice of life tasks
The Day of the Rubber Duck
Time to Stop Adventuring & Get a Real Job!

Svetlana looked across the broken iceways. The longboats pulling out to begin new adventures for many. She would soon begin her own outing, far from these lands of cold. Perhaps the deserts of the Southlands would provide more riches than scant furs and plates of fish.

Sincere question to those that gen the same characters repeatedly and pretty extensively, whats the appeal? Clearly you don't grow tired of them, is it sentimental attachment or what? I mentioned it last thread but for me it's the challenge of making a consistent focal point to build a TT around, or some other requirement that naturally emerges in the thread. Especially if it can hit not only the character design but the character motivation whether through expression, location, or action. I like restrictions because they demand innovation. I won't lie, I also like women with black hair and purple streaks, but that's secondary.

I actually still post there when I can. I said a thread or so back I got busy with life due the owner and his wife signing me as the 3rd owner of their hardware and ive been running it full time now. I'm in the middle of huge upgrades to the store and system along with incorporating AI into things to better track and keep tabs on all of it and im getting the spare building behind the warehouse ready due to expanding of the hardware. The local business are going to need delivery of goods soon since the person and company the brings everyone their stuff here is shutting down due to some stuff with the owner being old. So im expanding the hardware to use the spare warehouse building behind it to setup a local delivery business to cover the local business in town and others. So that's taking a bunch of time and there is way to much paperwork legalizing things and expanding a business. So I am still here and post but mostly just am in read mode on /tg/ and /sdg/.

And I have an AI project I took up that's kind of exploding out of control overnight and so I have that distracting me also.

anyways I would post more but I guess running a business you own is actually quite a bit of work when you're expanding it. I do lurk so I have somewhat been keeping up on the threads and try to reply if I get mentioned.

My project for AI is silly. It kind of started when I decided hamster needs an organization for the chatbot stories I have him in. And with me having chatbots from so many different earth and reality in marvel and dc comics and public domain I had tons to pick from. So roughly 2 days ago I went into the public domain section and pulled out The Girl Commandos and Flying Nurses from public domain and added them to hamsters organization and setup the chatbots and profile for it. So at the moment I have 2 teams in hamsters organization and both teams are 8 people total. And I have a huge list of others to pull out of public domain and use along with my OC I have tons of. so the current organization has a few members and the potential are huge. It's one of those things my brain is going ADD EVERYONE and my other part of the brain is going yeah but there's thousands of public domain AND your OC. On the plus it does let me have a ton of fun when I go into a chatbot story on perchance now and bring the 2 teams and they are part of the reality we go into. Of amusing note is that in the 1930s through 1950s there were about 40+ jungle girls aka woman in jungle comics. I find that detail a bit amusing.

Also of note is a version of superman is public domain due to the animations not being properly IP protected so I guess that gives people some options for a superman not superman. And there's tons of characters outside of comics. I actually have some chatbots of historical people I interest with and gods of legend like Freya. So when I do get a spare moment to sit and do AI things I usually have something going on with the project and now more so the last few days as I now stepped into all those public domain to claim and use in all sorts of genres and categories.

Well, that's literally how stuff made with the "latent diffusion" system works. It starts out as random noise and is refined into an image with successive passes of a pattern recognition system (typically referred to as sampling steps). If an AI image generator looks like there's noise in its outputs, that just means they've skimped out on the number of steps, probably to save on server load.

You get the same thing with Bing (and sometimes worse) if you write a really long and complex prompt, because the longer prompts eat more resources, so they cut down on the number of steps to compensate.

While that definitely happens, I think it also can happen with priority prompts. Where there is too much detail for a small portion of the prompt. Like if you describe the face or scene with too many adjectives. Smiling is good (tho produces really dumb looks), wry or slight or small smile is great, but once you jump up too upper lip curled sneering smile you start seeing degradation in other spots.

The filename above your post for what led me to this thought. Wizard as a term is related to wizened. The use of age relation between the two terms implies to some degree that "wise" is almost inherent in wizardry.
Not preparing spells for a situation that you know you'll be exposed to is not so wise. Perhaps being uncomfortable will lead to this privileged lady to make 'wise' choices in the future, which then would make her more of a wizard than she is currently.

A tale of adventure, peril & riches!

THE DEVIL IN WINTER!

I was in my youth & travelling in the frozen lands of northern Asgard, & chanced upon an old hunter that shared his hearth. That night he wove a story of a devil from the stars falling to earth, of a vast palace fashioned from ice & filled with treasures, how the devil used to rule the land sending forth unnatural monsters or cold winds to enforce his will, til one day he sealed his tower & was heard from no more. The locals avoid the place, fearing its curses & for fear of the devils wrath even still. I scoffed at his tall tale, but he swore to me it was truth, he did not have the way of a liar so I in my lusty youth boasted that if he were honest, I shall go to this place & come back with proof of my courage
Anonymous No.95971329 [Report]

That's actually pretty useful. So "Coward" is someone who is rather adept at cowering (down) through practice? That's pretty neat.
In the case of the signifier, though, I would imagine that you'd need an institution that provides doctorates in order for that definition to be accurate.
