I guess the difference is Cromwell was a talented general while Hitler wasn't. That's the difference between getting behind a divinely ordained cause like Cromwell and being an arrogant godless heathen like Hitler. It's about humility. Cromwell had the humility to listen to his generals and advisors, and the good will to adequately supply and pay his troops, and Hitler didn't. They were just meatshields for his industrialised mass murder project. That's why he lost. You'll fail as a leader and the bubble will pop eventually if you make decisions based on emotion and treat your subjects like animals and then sit in your bunker blame them when your vanity project blows up in your face.
