Travel can be good or bad. If travel means going to tourist areas, it's bad because it distorts reality by making you think places/peoples are better than they actually are.

If travel means learning what other places are actually like, it's good because it gives a broader understanding of the world and people. But more importantly, it shatters media illusions(IE the grass isn't greener over there, it's shit).
