these showed up at my local Target, there was lots of 'em

anybody have any experience head-popping these Royal Guards? I like the wispy ghost thing but I think the skull-mouth-paint is terrible. I was thinking I could maybe swap off the head for something else. can anybody help verify if that's easy or possible? (or not?)
