The media might be the only ones that do something. The law is corrupt and I'd bet money Supreme court judges are on it, and evidence will be dismissed as not credible for a court of law. Cancelling some celebs will probably be the extent of the "consequences."
Will the public take to the streets (and not just the sidewalk)? Probably not even that.
