With Xenoverse and Legends doing fuck all, it really puts it in perspective that Hearts was a miracle. He was made to be a reverse Zamasu, and a villain who hates Zenoh makes a lot of sense, and him being practically a mind reader is an interesting power for DB. Plus the developers bothered to come up with Lagss too. The manga helped to develop him better too, as his beliefs are more sincere (Pic related doesn't happen in either the game or promotional anime).
Even before him, Demon Realm villains were a decent idea. Although Mechikabura himself was kinda boring, and he became even more boring once he rejuvenated. I'm not fond of Fu in general, but the universe seed is interesting.
Aeos... Was more of an excuse to have a ToP ripoff with Z villains around, although her being more strict about her job and wanting timelines to be gone makes sense, but I feel they didn't do much with her since Demon Realm took over as the main threat.

I remember how mindblowing it was for me to realize that. Video games like to make generic moves into named techniques, and I was so used to Burning Attack and Buster Cannon being Trunks' techniques, but when re-reading the manga, I noticed he didn't use named techniques even once (And Burning Attack is just a ki blast with complicated hand motions)...
