Rule number 1 is that it's not a cover shooter in multiplayer. Never stop moving. Learn how the magnetism to the walls works. You will get a feel for the gnasher in enough time. Try a mode with respawns like Blitz so you spend more time alive than spectating until you have experience to play execution.

But, yeah, Gears was fun as shit especially because the multiplayer was anything but a cover shooter and revolved around abusing the magnetism to go fast and kill quick with broken shotguns.
