The gift should ARRIVE by Horsemas. If you’re shipping internationally then it’s definitely good to plan to ship well before the actual deadline. It’s true that every once in a while a mail monster eats a gift, or customs takes an extra long time, or a parcel falls down behind a mail sorting machine and it takes an extra week for a postal worker to notice it and get it back on route. If that happens, I mean, that happens. Nothing anyone can do about it and it’s not going to get you on the grinch list. But if you’re shipping internationally on December 23rd then you’re doin it wrong and your poor Santee won’t get to participate in the Horsemas Day threads.
All that to say, yeah, stuff happens that’s out of our control sometimes and nobody should get grumpy with you for that, so long as you handle the things that are under your control right.
