What was the point of Judge Sr and Judge Jr's life events being identical, like 2 years difference between them and the woman that cheats on them, book falling open on the exam question etc?

Also the main character was a slut that was eventually definitely tapped by the sleazy photographer who she agreed to go "bowling" with after "rebuffing" his advances

Poor Judge Jr is in for another surprise
