It can always get worse, and for manga it can get American comic industry tier bad. What's more, I have seen companies and ecelebs call their comics ''manga" because it is currently more trendy compared to comics and implies better standard of quality. I have no doubt this will start to happen a lot more because these companies see manga absolutely trash their dogshit in terms of sales numbers and they want to take that slice of the pie. Ironically they are the same ones that would at best ignore, and at worst try to ruin careers of many mangaka since many of them draw loli, shota and rape doujinshi. A couple of years ago Coolkyoushinja had three anime based on something he worked air in the same season, and then you think about how the cunts that would have shot down his career before it began try to worm their way into anime and manga industry to poison it, profit from it and then leave it in ruins when something else becomes trendy.
