Translations for other languages are often based on the english. So some of the english's bad points will have slipped through. Which you can see in pic related(not a different langauge but the idea is the same). Now the reason it's "some" and not "all" is because it's translators for other languages are more professional. Which is also in pic related since they fix the continuity error. And on top of that they sometimes just ignore the english and actually translate the Japanese. If you just removed english translators the quality would improve substantially. Though a lot less people would be able to read it.
