At least 2, usually 3 unless it's crater. Sometimes upwards of 5 depending on keys and routing.

The only mine I ever actually go into is the top right one next to the gaol with the pumpkin head.

It's 5% per gaol for ALL damage. Spells, incants, physical, ranged, everything.
