Edging closer and closer to having to namedoxx on here. I've got a story that's the great work of my life: a story told in mixed prose and verse that I hope will be the greatest work of art of the 21st Century. I'm going to start releasing the first book on my Substack in October. It'd be nice to get at least some Anons on /lit/ reading it; I actually think you guys would like the story, and I really enjoy 4chan as a whole as an audience.
But my Substack has my real name attached to it, and I've always been extremely hesitant to release my real name on here unless I absolutely have to do so. I've been posting on 4chan since 2007. Being Anonymous is ingrained into my very nature at this point. I've always disdained the tripfags and never liked the unwarranted self-importance of anyone who'd use a name on this site.
But if I want /lit/ to read my stuff in the near future I guess there may be no helping it. Paradoxically, maybe me obsessing over this is, itself, a kind of vanity, and too much attention paid to my identity online.
