What I stated was an opinion. Not a mathematical fact.
I think it sours the experience in a noticable way, I (personally) would not have enjoyed VTMB if I played Malk on first playthrough but that's just me. I'm sure there are other people like me out there who would drop the game because of Malk dialogues.
I only hope to help people like myself to see the game before they delve into an option that may sour the experience for them just as it would for me.
Obviously this is not true for everyone and I'm not a father who'd force choices on them. Naturally people should make their own choices and connections but opinions can also shed light on possible patters (like disliking the game) that could be avoided with a simple -if heavy handed- suggestion.
