Top is the flashback from episode 15 where Jinya absorbed the powers of that cursed kadono katana and bottom is tsuchiura's flashback.
I dunno why the subs didn't say so, but in nip the swordsmith calls tsuchiura "waga deshi" and refers to himself as "shishou"
