Never saw Dial of Destiny but I did see Crystal Skull. Notably I watched Crystal Skull when I was a kid long before I saw the original trilogy so I just took all the "refrigerators can't survive nuclear explosions!" and "Aliens are stupid" criticisms at face value. Imagine my shock when I watched the originals years later and realized they were just as pulpy and ridiculous as Crystal Skull.
