Because EVERY SINGLE person who was passionate about WoW originally has already left and the company is a complete Karenocracy at this point. Look at TWW, they spent an entire expansion doing literally nothing, and now the only selling point for Midnight is "cozy housing xDD".
The game is dead and the faster people realize it the sooner Blizzard can go bankrupt.
