I know even Tertullian was able to get one the author of the gospel of Nicodemus (or I think it was Peter) to admit it was all fan fiction, and the author was even a priest himself; immediately fired. Gnosticism is a dangerous heresy that disconnects you from others, the 2nd greatest commandment given to men by Jesus (that even the ORIGINAL GNOSTIC MARCION RECOGNIZED) would be "love your neighbor with all your heart soul and mind" of course the 1st being towards God.

There is no "converting" to gnosticism, theres only joining a bunch of wandering tramps predisposed to orgies, and degeneracy you'd find in the depths of LGBT discord tranny group chats celebrating the recent shooting of the catholic church.
