It's not really a washed-up venue. LuckySevens is one of the O.G. venues (a giant free company) that kicked off the clubbing business on Primal, but gave it a very horrible name on Hyperion. (I was originally on Hyperion with my first account.) People actually shat on them for promoting their shit everywhere, including Eureka, hunt trains, etc. They were obnoxious with the shit.

I'm surprised they're still around, given the amount of scandals with numerous leadership members. Grooming, pedophilia, rigged shit, etc.

Of course, you wouldn't give a shit, because your ebins support that kind of trashy behavior.

I think that video is suppose to be a huge mockery on plugins, but yeah... that's definitely an overkill of what people use in the raiding scenes. I think that video was even showcased on XenosysVex's stream (when I still watched him) and it was an absolute shit show of how far plugins went at the time in Endwalker.

These are the plugins (that I know) on screen:

About a third of these plugins (i.e. Splatoon and RotationSolver.) I don't condone what-so-ever. They're just flat-out cheats and should be frowned upon in the raiding community. Yet, you'll find people every day being caught with some auto-rotation or botting bullshit now.

I'm only going to respond to this once and repeat myself from before, Tikaasi or Riallant. (I don't care who this retard is.) I only developed tools for someone who had visual problems and wanted to continue raiding. I did what she wanted and that's it. I never used the shit for my personal advantage.

Splatoon is highly misused by retards, but for the longest time--it was the only accessibility tool on the plugin market. Colorblind users had to use the tool, because SE's settings were dog shit that Mr. Happy roasted the developers for it. Same for people who were having issues trying to see thru the visual effects. You can trash disabled players as much as you like, but when XIV's development team has failed to correct accessibility problems for nearly a decade--don't blame the players for developing accessibility tools they need to correct the developer's bullshit. Blame only the players who abuse it for their personal benefit.

I will agree on Todd's negative bits on one thing. White knighting Square Enix isn't going to fix the fucking problem, because people has done that throughout Shadowbringers and Endwalker. Look what that brought us. Literal dog shit that they're finally starting to correct course, because they weren't given the proper criticism. Now we removed the "Yoshi P! You're doing so great!" larpers out of the way, they're starting to correct problems with the game.

I also was reading around on Reddit and Twitter in regards of the player count. It seems the numbers are going down across the board for almost all MMORPGs right now. We might be coming out of the COVID bubble and the player numbers might be leveling out. This might be copium, but it sounds reasonable enough to bring up.

Yet, it doesn't really address the fact we have a TON of people just not engaging with content. I'm trying to do Eureka and Bozja and... it's just mostly dead throughout the day. Hardly anyone attempts CLL/Dal unless it's pinged in a discord.

I've heard him and countless streamers for years tell people "oh, come to Aether. that's where all the raiders come to do raiding." I was a moderator for one of these assholes and got flack for pushing back against that Aether narrative. Besides Asmongold getting people to dogpile onto Aether, him, Xenosys, Arthars, and many other streamers were responsible for that narrative humping bullshit. They cannot say "DC travel" killed PF when they praised the shit in the first place and then begged all their sheep viewers over to Aether.

The community did it to themselves on that front. Before Abyssos, we were in perfect harmony with Primal, Aether, and Crystal having our own Ultimate (maybe not Crystal) and Savage servers. Party Finder was in perfect harmony too. Content was accessible on our servers. Now? You have to go thru several hurdles just to even access the content, because these retarded streamers wanted to convert their servers into their personal cliques. They're the ones who caused that problem in the first place.
