This sounds like a larp because Kyle hated John well before 2007.
I'm too lazy to look up the source, but John mentioned Kyle a few times in his blog specifically to make fun of him and the "tude" expression. John likely looked up his artwork on DeviantArt and hated it because it was trying too hard to be Spumco like.

Kyle never mentioned working for Spumco because he saw himself as a BETTER version of Spumco. I also think Kyle lied about a lot of his accolades. He said he worked on the original Animaniacs, which would mean it was StarToons as an inbetweener or some small clean up. He was still at CalArts during that time and I think he was able to get a TOUR of the WB studios...so he counted that as working on it???
