There's no cohesion between the characters. Take Tom and Jerry: you can imagine a cat and mouse getting into some mischief. Tom is a cat which is fun wordplay. I'm barely scratching the surface but the ideas behind the characters is intelligently portrayed in Tom and Jerry. Batsy and Blue sounds charming but you actually look at the characters and they don't make sense. Bats are frail and evoke unsettling feelings in almost all imagery, so I get why they made this asshole look so unsettling but why isn't he a twink? Blue is not the worst but fox/wolf are depicted as survivalists so why the fuck is this foul furry creature spreading her legs wide open with what is presumably a male behind her unless that male were a homosexual? Case in point: you can't make gay ass faggoty cartoons and expect non-gay ass faggots to enjoy it

What's always stuck out to me about Kyle's designs is that every single body part is exaggerated to such a degree that's there no form at all. It's a shitty imitation of Ren & Stimpy in that it doesn't realize that characters from that show only get abstract form-wise for the sake of exaggeration. Every single drawing of his looks like a snippet of some larger motion, there's no room for things to actually stay still and settle on a clear shape.

Also there's the fact that his designs are just obnoxious yet completely forgettable on a fundamental level, regardless of art style.

I had a friend in California who I was seeing at the time(2007), Adult Party Cartoon was finished and this was after the announcement that it was cancelled. I was seeing a friend who worked on the show, and John there as we were doing lunch. John when on a 15 minute rant on this 'one artist' who kept fucking things up during the production of Fire Dogs 2. From what I saw John talking about, it almost sounded like John wanted to kill Kyle(he didn't name him) but he was sure pissed like George Liqour.

I'm too lazy to look up the source, but John mentioned Kyle a few times in his blog specifically to make fun of him and the "tude" expression. John likely looked up his artwork on DeviantArt and hated it because it was trying too hard to be Spumco like.

Kyle never mentioned working for Spumco because he saw himself as a BETTER version of Spumco. I also think Kyle lied about a lot of his accolades. He said he worked on the original Animaniacs, which would mean it was StarToons as an inbetweener or some small clean up. Like that one anon said, the biggest issue Kyle had with his designs is how they feel like they have little to no form at all due to how they’re always wonky and off-model, they indeed feel "wacky for the sake of wacky", compare this to the work done by Spumco artists, where despite being known for their exaggeration, actually have a keen eye for composition and make their off-model exaggerations and expressions look appealing.

Look at Katie Rice for example (particularly during her Skadi era), she had a stretchy and rubbery artstyle similar to Kyles, but she actually knows how to give her characters form and appeal whilst exaggerating them.

If it makes you feel better, it didn't seem like he was actually even trying to have "creative acumen." Kyle seemed to just churn out concepts as fast as he could. For those wondering of the person who tried to take Kyle's characters, TheSketchyArist, he's actually Chris Leonido; an Autistic cartoon lover who had shit with Kyle since the early 2010s. Their altercation started with Chris expressing his distate for Fanboy and Chum Chum yet complementing the title cards, and Kyle took that up his ass and yelled at him for it. And later on, Chris made an additional post where he compared Magiswords as a sub par show from MooBeard, which Kyle shat on him for it too.

Doesn't excuse Kyle's behavior towards him, but Chris clearly has an easily triggered temper. And his art style is shitty as it comes through. For someone that likes to shit on Kyle's work, he's clearly no critique when he can't even draw.

Boy, did it ever. The fangame was a full blown VN with 4 endings, while GVH was essentially the same thing, but worse quality and at a 20 dollar price, with only one ending.
