i think invasions were best early on in elden ring SOTE because i could carry both a "fun" setup for fighting 1v1 or 1v2, and a full-on cheese setup for fighting ganksquads. i saw other invaders doing it too.

most of the time, if i came across a real new player who was relying on summons to clear the level, i would just roleplay a secret assassin and keep killing their summons lol
