I use bacon grease in my homemade lotion for my hands. I also make a point to shake the hand of everyone I meet. The muslims in particular always remark about how soft my hands are. Some even ask me my secret. I just respond by giggling like a mad faggot and walking away.

My experience has been that error stems from ignorance and a desire to survive and a lot of compulsive destructive mistakes come from intrinsic motivators that stem from the state of the body and it's requirements. I suppose you could consider that genetic though so perhaps this is what you meant, I'm not sure.
