Ethereal are available to both factions. Same with Blood Elves and Void Elves. Etherals can be demon hunters -- their demon forms look like large green or purple void walkers. Demon hunters get a third damage spec and a third hero talent.

First half of prelaunch questline

First quest: Alleria, Vereesa, and the player investigate the elf whose body Xal’atath possessed. They find N’zoth cultists with the Blade of the Black Empire and discover N’zoth survived by hiding a piece of himself inside of it. Vereesa disowns Alleria after she decides to keep it and work with N’zoth against Xal’atath.

Second quest: Turalyon, Arator, and the player travel to Alterac Valley after Turalyon receives a vision. They meet Thrall and his son. A group of primalists cause an earthquake which traps the Turalyon, Durak, and the player underground. They find a hidden shrine filled with hybrid elementals mixed with fire and light. Durak gets blessed by their leader and Durak leaves with Turalyon to become his squire.

Zones for prelaunch invasion event: Arathi Highlands, Bel’ameth, Gilneas, Shattrath

Legion remix's story is we're being sent back to study how we survied the Legion's invasion as preparation for the impending void attack.
