I find that comparison is the cornerstone of objective critique and the only metroidvania I've enjoyed more than silksong was la mulana and I think it improved on hollow knight massively. I also think it's mind boggling that people are saying stuff like sotn and super metroid is better, rose tinted goggles are really something. I hope this game raises the bar for metroidvanias a bit, as there are far too many crappy ones.
