Because again, NoA and then the Pokemon Company USA literally said "FUCKS STORY WE HAD TOYS" and marketed the hell out of the 4kids dub bible, names, tone, personality, heck, remember when all the Stupids in the Pokemon fanbase tough for a minute that Nintendo removing 4kids out of the picture would meant that the Pokemon dub will finally get better and more accurate, because of some fluff nothin burger PR that said they were dissatisfied with the way they handle the dub, and people rise their hopes to get subs even........
And it turn out it was just your typical Nintendo greedy bullshit of WE WANT MONEY N CONTROL!, all they did was just take control over the dub but literally Kept dubbing the same with the same crappy localization practices, they just didn't wanted to share with another company even it was a dubbing one, and guess what, the dub got even worse then it was, heck, by Sun and Moon it straight up went Abridged parody dub, because FUCK THOSE JAPS RIGHT, they even started to inssert more absurdist bullshit anime humor into the original show as well.
If an anime is made to promote anything outside of a manga, like videogames specially, it's FUCKED, remember Yokai Watch?
